I had the most impressive kitchen designed and fitted in 2002 by Peter. At the time I could have no idea how long lasting and timeless the design would prove to be. Cream cupboard doors with clever ideas; narrower doors in harder to access places, the larger oven placed slightly lower than usual, so that I could more easily use the fan/microwave one above and the excellent use of Corian for work surfaces, splash backs and ledges, with no visible joins. Even the “free” chopping board has been in constant use and still seems as good as new. I had a Corian topped small table made which has been just so useful. Visitors still say how lovely the kitchen is; not believing me when I tell them it is over 10 years old. I have just had the original fridge/freezer replaced and was so pleased that the original fitter came back to do the job. Super friendly service and advice given. Thoroughly recommend the company.

Like most people, initially we had no more than a general idea of how we wanted our new kitchen to look, but Peter guided us through the design process with great experience and patience. He gave us very clear drawings showing several alternatives, so that we could stand in the existing kitchen and visualise how the different options might look.

Having made our decision as to layout, we then spent some very useful time in the showroom in Bromley, where we were able to see exactly how the various available materials might look; that enabled us to make an informed decision on which finishes would be ideal for us. Any queries we may have had at any stage of the process were handled equally efficiently by Emma or Sam if Peter was not there.

The granite worktops still look absolutely stunning and other features we particularly like are the “soft-close” cupboards and drawers and the ergonomic swivelling handle on the main oven.

Eight years on and one of our friends still insists on seeing the kitchen each time she visits! For our part, we have absolutely no regrets about entrusting such a major project to Compact Interiors and would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone else.

We were having our property extended in order to have a modern kitchen diner fitted and had a good idea how it should look. We visited many kitchen showrooms but couldn’t find what we wanted – the adverts look good, but when you have different shapes, sizes and even colours in mind, things get difficult and we were beginning to think we would never have the kitchen we wanted. We happened upon Compact Interiors by chance on our way into Bromley one day and thought it might be worth calling in to see if they could help and it proved to be the best thing we ever did. Peter and Emma were professional and friendly and to them, everything seemed possible.

After our first discussions, Emma prepared computerised drawings for our approval and we were thrilled with how she combined our ideas with her suggestions, and we happily asked them to undertake the work. Peter’s advice helped us to choose all our kitchen equipment and that made things even simpler for us. When our builders were ready, everything was delivered on time and exactly to the plans, and so our beautiful kitchen came to life – even our builders were impressed. That was six years ago and we are as happy with our kitchen today as we were the day it was completed; more so in fact, because it has proved to be a joy to work in, with everything perfectly placed for ease and efficiency, and a pleasure to be in because the design was thoughtfully produced and just what we had hoped for and the quality speaks for itself because it still looks as if it has just been fitted. We really have no hesitation in recommending Compact Interiors and are pleased that they gave us the opportunity to say so.
